THE CIRCUS SCHOOL
Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11, on AB dambis from 3:00 till 10:00 PM
Every magician will tell you this, every sword swallower will confirm it and every juggler will be ready to bet a clown’s red nose that there’s no better education institution in the world like the Circus School. Think about it – instead of trapezoids they cut right through to trapezes, during classes, students learn how to perform card tricks, walk three feet above ground and learn how to disappear into thin air under a black handkerchief. The principal is open to cutting students a deal: don’t bother with homework, ignore teacher’s questions while at the blackboard, and forget about studying at all for that matter (all that only on one condition that you paint your face white, put on a striped shirt and white gloves). And we’re not even going to say a word that in the Circus School everybody has a chance to become a clown!
During festival days on AB dambis, the Circus School will conduct proficiency masterclasses. These are four courses which will be useful to both circus practitioners and beginners, as well as anybody who wants to improve their ability in disciplines like Precision, Agility, Luminosity and Tricks. The best proficiency masterclass pupils will receive prizes from the Circus School and discover the secret of “bouncing juggling” technique.
