Quim Giron’s masterclass “The Nature of Objects Texts in Performance”
will take place on Monday, August 20,2018 from 10.00-11.30 and 12.00-13.30 at Tallinas 10 (Tu jau zini kur).
Quim Giron is one of the bravest Catalan circus artists of the last decade. Representing “Animal Religion”, Quim continues to study the animal in himself and others. Quim’s main disciplines are the hands on the floor and the floor acrobatics. During the workshop, Quim will invite participants to use floor acrobatics in context with the object and it’s texture. What to do with 1 cubic clay? It can become a stage design element, a circus tool, a scene, and it can also be a creation of masks and costumes in front of the auditory.
The purpose of this masterclass is to encourage young stage artists to seek creative ideas in an interdisciplinary way and to look at themselves and the environment as a sculptural object. Please fill application: https://ej.uz/ReRiga_meistarklase
