“Circus – it’s one of the forms of art where people’s abilities can be demonstrated. A real circus exists only if it contains elements such as fear, laughter and surprise,” says magician Gabriel Got who during the RE RĪGA! festival will offer a classical show of illusionism with… toys. The show will live up to fear, laughter and surprise. It will be a journey through the fantastic world of the circus, where seemingly ordinary toys get vivid characters and get involved into different unexpected events.

Gabriel Got breaks the regular boundaries of circus in his performances, offering the spectators more than well-known magic tricks with scarves, coins and cards. Gabriel Got started his artistic career with juggling, as time passed, he turned to throwing knives and finally started practising illusion and magic. The artist has drawn inspiration from several world-renowned circus art shows, and he does not use animals in his performances. Gabriel relies on his skills and talent in illusionism,  which have allowed him to create a programme of magic and tricks not yet seen in Latvia.
