13-15 February, 2013 the international circus fair Subcase took place for the fifth time in Stockholm circus venue Hangaren Subtopia.
Subcase is a yearly showcase of circus where presenters of performing arts get the opportunity to see shows and work in progress presentations. It is arranged by Subtopia creative clusters in close cooperation with New Nordic Circus network. During three intense days artists and bookers from Norden and Europe meet.
Producers of the International Street Art and World Music festival RE RE RIGA! had an opportunity to attend Subcase 2013 and to see the latest artistic work in contemporary circus. The program mostly was Nordic, introducing circus acts and presentations as well as experimental projects from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland as well as from Spain.
During the fair RE RE RIGA! discovered several outstanding performances. This year the most striking of them will be seen at the festival in Riga!
