MURMUYO SU-SESO TALADRO (SPAIN)
The character of Murmuyo the clown came into being more than 15 years ago in Chile from the study of movement and gesture in the urban environment, which is Murmuyo’s stage. The goal was to use exuberant imagination to provide uncommon experiences ‘outside the box’. Murmuyo disrupts the order of things, primarily through movement and facial expression, bringing viewers to frenetic heights of emotion through engaging optic vignettes, outrageous acts, and lovely interactions with the audience and innocent bystanders.
“Su-seso taladro” is an awarded show, admired and acclaimed in both European and South American festivals. The stages of the show are cross streets, where Murmuyo uses traffic as a stimulus to his exquisite work of improvisation and provocation, where emotions startle generating an ecstasy of dreams and reality peak.
Murmuyo is already known to the most loyal visitors of the festival Re Riga! – in 2018 he performed in the festival and in the Riga City Festival his show “Fisura”, and receiving much appreciation from the audience.
